The 15th edition of Mumbai Lit Fest
Mumbai: Continuing its splendid run for the past 14 years, The Mumbai Lit Fest is back with its 15th edition from 15th-17th November 2024 to be held at National Centre of Performing Arts (NCPA). This year, the event is spread over three days and hosts over 125 writers, speakers, performers, from 13 countries across the globe.
The 15th edition’s line includes a galaxy of stalwarts including Gulzar, Hussain Zaidi, Gautam Bhatia, Huma Qureshi, Ila Arun, Arundhathi Subramaniam, Christopher Merrill, Farrukh Dhondy, Jane Goodall, Jane Ohlmeyer, L Subramaniam, Lavanya Lakshminarayan, Marcus du Sautoy, Mohinder Amarnath, Murzban Shroff, Pavan K Verma, Prajakta Koli, Pico Iyer, Ranjit Hoskote, Shahu Patole, Subhash Ghai, William Dalrymple.
Another attraction at this event would be a virtual installation of Frank Kafka’s book The Metamorphosis. The literary work is also The Book in Focus for this edition observing the author’s 100th Death Anniversary.
Apart from conversations with some of the most revered names in the field of Literature, Art, Business, History among many more, the three day fest would also award function, Poet Laureate, Sultan Padamsee Award for writing, the Anil Dharker founded fest will also have fun activities like book swap, workshops, and outreach programs. Simultaneously, HT Parekh Foundation will also host 'The Little Festival' for the age group of 8-14 featuring moderating of sessions by children, literary zone for storytelling, and nature walks for children.
