Coldplay includes Ahmedabad to India tour
Considering the insurmountable demand and following for the British Music band Coldplay in India, the band has added a fourth show in their original three concert itineray. The band, who are on a global tour, were originally set to perform for two consecutive days 18,19, January 2025 in Mumbai. Following the demand and craze of fans, they decided to extend the shows on January 21st, 2025. After almost two months of the first lot of concerts being declared, they added another show to their schedule on January 25th, 2025, at the grand Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium with seating capacity of 132000 as opposed to 42000 seating capacity of D Y Patil in Mumbai. The ticket rates for the show are not yet disclosed.
The announcement and thereafter booking options for three concerts, all at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai, had led to malfunctioning of booking websites and also controversy regarding the ticket rates. The pricing for Mumbai shows started from 2000 and ranged up to 35000 for VIP Lounge.
The tickets controversy which even raked an investigation from the Cyber crime wing gave the meme creators a field day with creative memes.The band is expected to perform some cult hits like Fix you, Yellow, Sky full of Star among many others. The band that follows a cult status in the country and has generations ranging from boomers to Gen X swooning to their tunes have given a fresh lease to the disappointed fans who couldn't secure their tickets for three concerts in Mumbai.
