NH7 Weekender canceled
Much anticipated 15th Edition of NH7 Weekender was canceled hours before it was about to start. The official Instagram handle of the festival shared the news with their audiences that due to law & order restrictions the event stood canceled. The organisers also assured that the money would be returned in due course of time.
Known as ‘The happiest festival’ is much loved by the young generation and this edition promised an interesting mix of national and international artists like Usha Uthupp, Amit Trivedi, Raftaar, Dhvani Bhanushali, and Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Jorja Smith were international artistes set to perform. Along with music, the festival also icnluding gaming, cocktail, and culinary delights.
Tej Brar, Head of Festivals, Godwin Games had correctly termed the festival as a genre agnostic festival that serves beyond just music but gives a wholesome experience. The festival has been hosted across India in cities like Shillong, New Delhi. This year it returned to Pune at Teerth Fields, Sus Road on 14th-15th December 2024. The organisers put the post hours before the gates were to be opened, leaving many fans disappointed. The organisers however profusely apologised for the inconvenience, and thanked the fans for their love. They also shared that they tried their best to open the gates, however, it remained beyond their control. What’s interesting is that they haven't announced postponement but complete cancellation therefore there is no chance of 15th edition happening this year.
