Indian Music composer Suneet Haran sets a new world record

Indian musicians are going places and making records. From dominating at the Grammy’s to now registering yet another feat with the Guinness Book of World record. Suneet Haran, a Mumbai based music composer, lyricist has found his name in the annals of Guinness Book of World record with his song ‘Grateful for Love’ which has 398 languages.

The process of weaving 398 global languages has been complex but fulfilling for Haran, as he shares with the media that It felt surreal and his childhood dream being accomplished. He also added that finally holding the Guinness World Record certificate in his hands was an unforgettable moment.

Apart from Grateful for love, Suneet has been performing live in India as well internationally and is currently working on many singles.

Before Suneet, many Indian musicians have featured in the esteemed list of Guinness Book of World record. Earlier this year, Grammy award and nominee Ricky Kej featured in the list for producing a version of national anthem with 1400 tribal children from Odisha and 100 piece Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on the eve of Independence Day.

Legendary Asha Bhosale still holds the uncontested record of 11,000 studio recording by a single artist. Other than that Sucheta Satish from Kerala holds the record for singing in 140 languages in nine hours, performing at the Indian Consulate Auditorium in Dubai in November 2023.

Shree Harikrushna Kirtan Yaag holds the record for the longest singing marathon by multiple singers with 11 days, 11 hours, and 11 minutes in Vadtal earlier this year too.
