The latest singing sensation, Diljit Dosanjh, who is currently touring for Dil-Luminati’ Tour across India has won hearts of his fans and made some more by taking a stand for a fan. A female fan was seen crying and singing at his recent live performance in Jaipur. The footage was edited and posted on Diljit’s social media handle and soon hell broke loose. The internet mercilessly trolled the girl for ‘Cringe’ response when the singer was singing Dil Tenu De Dita Mai Ta Sohneya”. For over three days, meme makers enjoyed trolling her by questioning if this is what the youth of India would be doing or making a reference to what her father must be struggling with while the daughter is wasting her time here.
However, yesterday at his concert in Hyderabad, Diljit openly called out the trollers and defended the fan for connecting with emotions so well. He also claimed, “main khud kinne var roya hoon gaana sunte huye” (I myself have cried so many times while listening to music). Further he also added that music is an emotion, it can make you cry, smile, laugh, dance, and its ok! He posted the footage of Hyderabad show to defend his fans with a caption “A woman who knows her worth doesn’t need validation—she shines bright enough to light her own way.” Diljit insisted that no one should insult the daughter of the nation who are self made! He truly has won many hearts by taking side of his die hard fans.
